Melanoma Research

Melanoma is an aggressive form of skin cancer that causes over a thousand Australian fatalities each year.

The ECU Melanoma Research Foundation was established in 2007 to raise awareness of Melanoma and promote research into the causes and methods of prevention of this cancer.

Research projects include the development of a simple blood test to aid in the early detection of the spread of this deadly disease.
