Sports Science is an area of study that provides a professional qualification for students seeking to enter occupations in sport, fitness, recreation and allied health agencies. The course provides students with a foundation of vocationally relevant knowledge and skill in the fields of exercise physiology, biomechanics, psychology, sociology, coaching, education, motor skill acquisition, nutrition, resistance training, exercise programming, sports injury and exercise rehabilitation.
Many of those who have undertaken our studies have secured positions in large and prestigious sporting organisations such as the West Australian Institute of Sport, The Australian Sport Commission, The West Coast Eagles Football Club and The Western Force Rugby Club. Graduates also enter into the fields of Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation and Physical Education.
