Research Interests:
  • Genetic and demographic studies of consanguineous marriage in South India, Pakistan, U.K. and Australia, and the clinical sequelae.
  • Human genetic variation, with Human Genome and Human Genome Diversity Projects in Karnataka, South India; Punjab, Pakistan; Liaoning and Gansu provinces, PR China.
  • Medical and Public Health Genetics, with projects on familial adenomatous polyposis, and intellectual handicap.
